I’ve been working in theatre since 2001 when I began a longstanding association with  award winning physical theatre company Gecko and have gone on to work extensively as a freelance theatre composer and sound designer.

I started out as a devising performer and composer on Gecko’s first production Taylor’s Dummies which required an explosion of sound and musicality to elevate its visceral world. Since then I’ve composed original music for most Gecko projects including touring stage productions, associate shows and films.

Other highlights include original scores and sound designs for National Theatre, RSC, Bristol Old Vic, Birmingham Rep, HOME Manchester, Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre among others.

My work encompasses notated scores for live musicians, devised music with traditional, non-reading performers and actor-musicians and fully recorded soundtracks.
